I'm the One That's Cool

Today was the official launch of Geek and Sundry, the YouTube channel produced by Felicia Day, Kim Evey, and Sheri Bryant. To kick things off, we got a new video from the cast of The Guild. They've tackled pop and dance music and now they are rocking out in this video. I've read some of the comments on YouTube how the song is pandering to the "jocks" level, but I think it's not the first song where the nerd/geek gets the glory. Look at Revenge of the Nerds or even "You Belong with Me." The song is meant to be fun and not taken too seriously. 

Sunday Videos: Nerdy and Geeky

Usually when I watch YouTube it's because of one of these things:

- The latest viral video

- Fan made videos of my fandoms/ships

- Music videos

- Tutorials

Now I'll have two more reasons to tune into YouTube more often, Felicia Day's Geek & Sundry channel and Chris Hardwick's Nerdist channel. :D
