The main reason for the trip to NYC was to see my sister graduate with her Masters in Teaching from Fordham University. The ceremonies took place over at their main campus located in the Bronx. The campus is so beautiful with it's old buildings (the college was founded in 1841) and green trees. Can being in a historic campus like this make you feel smarter cause it might have for me.

One of the many things I saw on the train ride up to Fordham. There were two graduation ceremonies. The main one was located outside of Keating Hall. Brian Williams was the guest speaker. Also he along with such notables as
Alex Trebek, actress Marian Seldes and former New York Gov. George Pataki received Honorary Degrees from the university.
After the main ceremony, each school/major broke off to have their smaller ceremony.
