Dress: LC Lauren Conrad for Kohl's
Denim Jacket: Old Navy
Sandals: Payless
Belt: Ribbon from Michaels
Necklace and Ring: Forever 21
Pins: $1 bin at Target
When I first laid my eyes on this dress, I was instantly smitten with it. It has this romantic ethereal quality to it that I usually don't see in maxi dresses that are not going to cost me half of my paycheck. Then I tired it on and pictured myself running in a field of wildflowers with the Lisbon sisters or playing the piano forte under the watchful eye of Mr. Darcy. This dress can work for so many things.
Since I'm wearing this to work, I added to the jacket to give it a relaxed vibe. Oh and just to be a little silly, I added these cat pins I got from the dollar bin at Target. Aren't they cute? I was also originally going to go all fancy and take pictures on a grassy field. But I didn't have enough time, so my usual picture taking spot will have to do.
Have you checked out how other bloggers are styling the maxi skirt/dress on Everybody, Everywear? So far my favorite looks involve layering with knotted button down. I'll have to try that look soon.

Thanks! I was so ecstatic when I found out that she was going to have a line at Kohl's. I have a few pieces from her collection. I love how everything is so romantic and girly. Like it might be something I would get at Anthropologie. As much as I love dogs, I love cats even more.
The weather has been so up and down lately that I think in Southern California that spring will be skipped over. ;)
Cute maxi! You wear it perfectly! :D
