Dress: I Heart Ronson for JC Penny
Chambray shirt: Old Navy
Necklace: Forever 21
Ring: Topshop
Sandals: Mudd via Kohls
I think I'm granny spectacles, a top knot and red lipstick away from going to hipster territory with this outfit. But I wanted to wear this dress without the formality of a cardigan or blazer and the chambray shirt is the perfect balance to it.
I wore this on Saturday to got to an informational meeting to be a volunteer for the Temecula Valley International Film & Music Festival in September. In the 17 years that the film festival has taken place, this will be the first time that I will be volunteering. I've always thought about volunteering, but never too the initiative to. So know I'm doing it and it's going to be a fun and interesting experience. Plus I'll have a chance to watch all the feature films and shorts that will be shown at the festival. It'll also be the first thing I can cross off in my 30 Before 30 list. Yay!
I hung the around the theater where the meeting took place afterwards and caught the first Saturday screening of Fright Night which I really enjoyed. So much that I wrote a review and I'm thinking of watching it again this week. What I'm also hoping to accomplish this week; making a few more necklaces and listing them along with some other items, a trip to the post office, writing a guest post, and finally finishing up reading Bossy Pants. It's been three months since I last read it and it's less than 300 pages. I should be done with it by now.
