If you're wondering what the red arm band is for, I gave blood for the first time today! I have a slight aversion to needles so I wanted to overcome that this year. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The worst part was when they pricked your finger to check your blood. It felt like when you accidentally staple your finger, which I have done before being the goober I am.
It was good knowing that my blood will be used to help someone. I'm going to be a regular blood donor.

I love the simply vera stuff at kohls! Kohls is probably my favorite department store, they tend to have some really great things (sans their icky shoe section) and have amazing sales.
I have never given blood. I'm not at all afraid of needles, I just never know where to go and stuff. One time at school I went to sign up for the blood drive and they were really rude and acted like... like they were doing ME a favor by taking my blood, so I ended up not making an appointment. But I really want to donate some! And good for you for doing it, you really helped someone :).
