Had the whole weekend off, which I haven't had in a while, and took advantage of it. Friday I saw the new Star Trek movie with this guy I'm kinda seeing. I don't know what our exact status is yet, but I do know this. The movie was really good. The movies pace never lagged and even if you never watched the series or the other movies, like myself, you'll still enjoy it. Chris Pine is easy on the eyes as Capt. Kirk and Zachary Quntio made Spock kinda hot. :-P Simon Pegg as Scotty? Genius.
Although I do have one inquiry, how did the heck did Tyler Perry get a role in the movie?
When he was on the screen the first thing that came to mind was Madea.
I actually can't wait for the next Star Trek movie.
Last night I went salsa dancing with my friend and her family. It was at this outdoor shopping center and it was tons of fun. They gave free lessons and now I know a few basic dance steps. They're having it again this Saturday and I'm going to go again. I think I'm hooked.
