On my Monday post, I mentioned about an awesome opportunity I was given and I'm happy to announce what it is. I was picked to be this months Project Style contestant! 

Now you're probably wondering what the heck Project Style is. It's this mall contest where they pick two people each month (from April through August) and they are given $150 to shop in the mall and create an outfit. It also has to include one item from their closet. A video is then made to explain the outfit; what the item from your closet was and how much everything else cost and it's put up on the Project Style site to viewing and voting. 

The winner from each month will then participate in a live style off contest where the finalists will have to created another outfit within the mall in one hour. The winner of the style off will win a $1,000 mall gift card. Did I mention that Nick Verreos from season 2 of Project Runway is going to be the host.

Isn't that awesome! This is also where you come in. I need votes. All you have to do is click on the Shoptopia:Project Style site, sign up (which you can do with your Facebook account), and then the easy part, vote! 

You can vote once a day and the voting goes on until the 30th. I greatly appreciate the votes and if I win this round, I'm going to do a giveaway to thank all my readers. 

I leave you with the video I submitted for the contest. I swear it took me an hour and probably 50 or so takes (I used the voice memo on my iPhone) to get a decent voice over. Probably not the best person to pick for professional voice over work.
