Can't Get Here Soon Enough

It's almost here... Four more days until Comic-Con! This will be my second year going but I'm really stoked about going this year. I think I'm in a different mindset this year than I was last year. I'll be there to have fun, and meet a bunch of new people. What a better place to network than at the con? I even have business cards made up.

Also I'm planning on not going to so many big panels unlike last year. More smaller panels and walking the entire convention floor more and also downtown. I'm also going to see Donald Glover (Troy from Community) at the House of Blues with my brother on Friday and the Nerdist podcast at 4th & B on Saturday with special guests Matt Smith and Karen Gillian. Doctor Who in da house! :P

Also I'm just as excited about eating there as I am about Comic-Con. No crappy $8 pizzas or $3 bruised fruit inside the convention. Even con organizers this year put out a list of all the eateries in downtown with some of them even having special deals for convention goers. Plus there's going to be food trucks! There will most definitely be an entire post devoted to the food at the con plus I'll have to get up a hour earlier just so I'll time to work out.

However I still haven't packed and my costumes are far from done. Procrastinator! Luckily they aren't super elaborate, so they'll get done. Also my blog will not be dormant while I'm gone. I have some awesome guest bloggers set up and I'll might do little update posts. Plus you can also follow me on Twitter for real time updates.

One more thing, don't forget to vote for me for this month's Project Style. Right now I'm trailing behind the other finalist by 32 votes. Ack! I wouldn't normally shill for votes, but I so want to make it to the finals! Remember to vote every day and if I make it to the next round, I will be doing a giveaway. Perhaps I'll get something really, really awesome at Comic-con!

Finally I'll leave you with this...

There's already a line forming for the Hall H Twilight: Breaking Dawn Pt. 1 panel at the convention center. If this was two years, I might have been crazy enough to this. But thankfully that phase has passed. Hopefully the security guards are getting overtime with dealing with this craziness.

Stumbled upon your blog somehow and just stopping to say hello.  I live in San Diego and my husband is at Comic-Con right now!  He works next to downtown so his work paid for all their employees to go for a day.  Hope you're having fun!
