I really like the nautical feel to this dress, but I didn’t want to look like an extra on the Love Boat. So I added my studded belt and rhinestone/chain necklace. It toughens it up a little bit where it looks like I mean business to the other cruise goers when I play a round of shuffle board with them. This will be a very versatile

I think for the rest of the month, I’m just going to wear skirts and dresses. The weather has been so nice that I haven’t felt the need to wear pants or capris. Plus by wearing my skirts and dresses, it’ll give me a good assessment of what are keepers and what needs to be tossed. I was also wondering if anyone has bought or sold through Smashion? I need a place to sell some of my clothes and the nearest Buffalo Exchange is an hour away. There is a resale shop where I live, but it’s a crapshoot. Plus I would feel weird hawking my clothes on the blog. Any advice would be really useful.

Finally, I have my first guest blog post up over at S.S. Vintage. Thanks to Samantha for letting me post on her blog. You should check out her blog, where she posts the vintage finds she sells on her Etsy shop and things that inspire her. She also has a giveaway with Hay, Rita! Vintage going on right now.
What are you waiting for? Go check it out!

I really like that dress! I have a friend who's been selling clothes on Smashion and she seems to really like it (I think it's cool because it's free) and she's sold quite a bit of stuff so far.

Stephanie you look so cute! I envy your hair and that dress! I love the way that you added the belt, great choice. Good luck on the selling clothes! Worst case, just donate the ones that you really don't like anymore. You can save the ticket and use it as a tax write off :)

I do love a good nautical-esque dress! This one is cute, and I like the touch the belt adds!

I'm happy other people are experiencing dress suitable weather. Isn't it nice?

Please sell me your things. Please, please. Or just give them to me. That's better, right? :) Just kidding. I've heard good things about Smashion but it's too hard to navigate based on size. I don't like using it so I don't purchase from it. I love the versatile nautical dress!
