Who Loves Orange Soda? I Love Orange Soda!

 30 for 30 Items:
Old Navy Beaded Cardigan
Banana Republic Orange Top
Old Navy Flare Jeans
Payless Black Mini-wedges
The Icing:
Forever 21 Necklace and Bow Ring (on left hand)
Gifted Jewlery Art Designs Bow Ring (on right hand)

I think I'm going up the color spectrum with this outfit. The last time I wore this it was with a red top. Next time, I'll wear green with it. Passing on yellow because while it's a great song, it's not a great color on me.

I also got paid today and usually after I take care of all the important stuff, ie. bills, I'll spend a good chunk of it on clothes, shoes and accessories. From that 10-20% of my purchases are still unworn with tags attached. Heck, some of my 30 for 30 picks will be the first time I wear them.
I think that's why I wanted to do the challenge. I constantly tell myself that I'm going to stop shopping and stuffing my closet with clothes I don't need. The last time I tried to, it lasted for 3 whole days.

But this challenge is a good step towards curbing my shopping habits. That my closet doesn't have to be stuffed to brink of explosion. That I can create re-mix outfits with what I already have. That just because a black skirt that's $4.97 plus an extra 10% employee discount is not really a good deal since I already have 4 black skirts hanging in my closet.
This challenge will help make me become a more conscious shopper.
Geez, it's only the 3rd day and I'm already waxing poetic. :P

I'm on a shopping ban too because I have too many clothes! I need to keep cutting it down to the ones that make me look fab and fit me well. Good luck with the 30 for 30! =)

I totally understand when half the items in your closet still have tags on them! I worked at a clothing store for five years and I would always purchase lots of clearance items. I just bought them because they were cheap! I really like the orange blouse!

I totally hear you on the shopping dilemma. That bargain deal is so tempting, but it's smart to hold back. I don't think I've regretting something that much where I had to go back, and even so, it'll probably still be there. :)

Your outfits for 30/30 are lovely! This is such a perfect preppy look.

I don't like orange soda but I love that orange top! I bet it will be really nice to have a nice sum of money after the challenge that you can use wisely! I wish I was saving money but I don't spend that much on clothes to start with, haha
