When I first saw this at my local Salvation Army months ago, I thought it was a dress bought it and put in the pile of clothes I planned on listing it in my Etsy store. But when I gave it a more thorough inspection last week, I noticed that it was actually a romper (it had no defined waistline like what most rompers and jumpsuits have). I also noticed the fabric was starting to pull from the seams, so there was no way that I was going to list it. I was thinking of other ways to use the fabric when out of curiosity I decided to try it on and it actually fits. I always liked the idea of rompers/jumpsuits but I whenever I tried one on, it looked ridiculous on me because the waistline would hit me in the wrong spot.  Go up a size and it looks really sloppy.  I was happy that it did fit. But then I had to figure out how to make me not look like a giant printed blob. So I put a belt on it (see what I did there? XP). Added a cardigan and it's safe to say I rocked my first romper without looking like I need to stand in the corner for a time out.

In other news, I signed up to be a volunteer at this years WonderCon

Run by the same group (Comic-Con International) that puts together Comic-Con, it's usually held in San Francisco at the Moscone Center. But this year the center is being renovated. so they decided to move it to Anaheim. I never volunteered at the convention before, so this is going to be a fun experience and the best part is that after I'm done volunteering, I get to roam the convention halls for free. I'm hoping I can do the same with Comic-Con im July, but that volunteer sign-up list fills up rather quickly. If you're interested in volunteering, you can sign up here

I like it! I've never been able to pull off one of those, but it looks great on you. Also, the one time I'm visiting my California relatives in March, we won't be staying at their house in Anaheim. We're headed for the somewhere we can camp with an RV I think. Could've gone to WonderCon...
