Here I Stand, Six Feet Small

Shirt, cardigan, and jeans: Old Navy
Mini-wedges: Payless
Bracelet: Forever 21

These jeans are quickly becoming one of my favorites. I love how they make me feel a little bit taller.  I'm going to have to add some more flares to my jean collection.  I currently loving this, this and this.  The next pair will also have to be super long, so I can wear my highest heels in order to feel like an amazon in the suburbs.

I might make it my mission to find the perfect flare jeans when I go to L.A. in a couple of weeks to see this....

I didn't have the chance to go last year, so I immediately got a ticket when I found out about it. I'm trying to convince some of my girlfriends to go. But if that doesn't pan out, it'll be a solo excursion to finally visit some places in L.A. I've been wanting to check out for a while. Well it's more like cupcake shops. There's Sprinkles, Babycakes, Yummy Cupcakes, Crumbs, the list goes on. If you add also going to Madewell or any shopping to the mix, it's best if I only go to maybe two or three cupcake shops max. The waistline, my self-confidence, and my teeth will not like me if I treat those little frosted suckers as a meal.

What other places, shops, food joints in L.A. should I visit?
I would love to know your suggestions!

Those pants are very flattering! Saw it in another post the other day. Wide leg and dark wash, you can't go wrong!

If you want a charming afternoon, lunch at a yummy deli followed by a crumbs cupcake you should visit Larchmont Village. There are some cute shops (pricey, but makes for some nice window shopping).

Head to downtown L.A. for some 500 Days of Summer-ish things to do. The Varnish is one of my favorite bars. I also love the Little Tokyo area- yummy food, cute asian trinkets at the supermarket and then there's Olivera St. for some Mexican flavor - good food, vibrant vendor stalls.

Jet Rag thrift shop in West Hollywood has $1 Sundays. They have piles and piles of clothes in front of the shop. Everything is just $1. It's a fun treasure hunt :)

If you have time we should do a blogger meet up!

You look very chic!

In LA, definitely visit Melrose and go to all the wonderful (and over priced) vintage stores. Have fun!
