I just finished watching Part 2 of Masterpiece Classics Emma and wanted to do some more Jane Austen research. She's one of my favorite authors and I've read all of her books and watch almost the numerous film and TV adaptions.
As I was doing my research, I came across this...
How did I not know about this?
My favorite Austen book, Pride and Prejudice, in comic-book form? Released last year by Marvel as a five-part comic series, you can get all of them together as a graphic novel on Amazon. It does sound interesting how they would pare down the story in a comic format.
I might have to check it out.
Also has anyone read either Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters or any of the adaptions where Mr. Darcy is a Vampire? (What the what?)
I wonder if these literary mash-ups ultimately adds or distractions from the classic novel.

Wow that is my favorite book and I have never heard of that comic! weird! Also, I haven't read Pride and Prejudice and Zombies but I really want to!
