All Hallows Eve

So for my costume, I ended up going the Audrey Hepburn route circa Breakfast at Tiffany's. I've had this dress sitting in my closet for a while. So to make it more like Holly Golightly's, I added some black fringe to the bottom hem of the dress and a bow belt.

Dress: Old Navy (added the bow belt and fringe)
Tiara: Garment district in Los Angeles

I also took a faux pearl necklace that I bought ages ago on eBay and added the flower pin.
Necklace: eBay
Brooch: Forever 21

I went into work thinking that at least half would come in costume. But alas, it was only me and another co-worker that did. She was in her husbands Fish and Game uniform, (he works in that dept. for the county sheriff) and customers kept doing the double take. It didn't help that she was the main cashier, so customers thought that our store needed a sheriff to ring them up Cause we get the bad ones at work.
Also one of my co-workers asked me if I was dressed as a princess, which I then had to explain what my costume was. Maybe if I had a paper bag with a danish in it, a no-name cat, or the turquoise blue box from Tiffany's it would have made more sense.
I think for next year, I'm going to have to set up a costume contest.

Instead of going out, I opted in staying in. Going to spend it watching semi-scary movies and getting a sugar coma from candy and various baked goods.

And now I leave you with quite possibly the best video to watch on Halloween.
