Not a coat of many colors, but it will do...

I almost forgot that this weekend is daylight savings time and that got me thinking about fall and winter, which got me thinking about coats. Although I do love the sunny Southern California weather, I do lament the lack of being able to wear coats.

For example, I bought this lovely coat from a thrift store a few years ago. It's black and navy tweed, with a peter pan collar and bracelet sleeves.

The picture doesn't really do the coat justice, but I don't have a digital camera, yet. So my camera phone will have to suffice for now.

So far I've only been able to wear it twice. The last time I wore it was when I went to San Francisco last year, but I ended up leaving it at the hotel room because it was unusually sunny weather when I was up there.

Well, there are five months until spring, so maybe I'll be able to show off my coat until it goes into hibernation.
